Breakfast was scanty compared to BW in Alton, IL area. There, the “sack” breakfast had a piece of fruit (apple or orange), a granola bar, and a muffin pre-packaged. When we collected breakfast, they added a small yogurt and a microwave breakfast sandwich. Coffee and orange were available. However, as a diabetic, I must limit consumption of most OJ brands. The hotel staff then gave me a bottled water. The Chester hotel’s breakfast sack had a bottle of water, a “danish” style roll, and a granola bar equivalent. We went to the nearby McDonald’s for a breakfast sandwich.

The breakfast was good and the bed was comfy. The staff was hospitable and the guests that passed through were equally friendly fitting the small town vibe this place has.
